Story

My work have given me an opportunity to join Camps International in an expedition to Cambodia, we will be living amongst the community and working with them to provide housing, education and water.
At Camps Internatioal they never leave a project unfinished, we will start a project based on what the project needs most and see it through to the end.
There will also be a 4 day trek through the jungles of Cambodia, exploring their land and seeing incredible land marks such as the Ankor Wat temple which is the largest temple in the world.
Camps International have selected Cambodia because the community is still facing the aftermath of the tragic Cambodia Genocide carried between 1975 and 1979 where around 3 million were killed and only a 1/3 have access to clean water and education, there is also wide spread poverty where people are living off $1 a day which is the equivalent to 60p a day.
In order to take part in this expedition I will need to fundraise £200 42% goes directly towards helping the communities and local economy. I will be putting money towards this monthly over the next 18 months doing a variety of different fundraising events, you're donations will mean a lot to this charity and to me as well, this is going to help make a huge different to people's lives and it is a life changing experience for myself as well! It doesn't have to be a lot but every penny will help me get started on this incredible journey!

Thank you
