I am 51 years of age I'm a Bricklayer from Liverpool, I've been working in building all my adult life. I broke my ankle 20 years ago and ever since, I've struggled everyday with my job as it's very physically demanding. I've never claimed benefits,ive always tried my best,but recently my van has broken and would cost too much money to fix so I find myself in a bad situation. I can't use public transport as I can't walk as far as the nearest bus stop I suffer bad with arthritis in my ankle,and have all my work tools to take. A family member died in June and I gave what savings I had for a new van towards the funeral costs as my niece was only 17 and there was no insurance to cover the bill for the funeral. This left me penniless, and now my van is irreparable I have no way to get about working, I'm starting to fall behind at the bank, mortgage money,insurances etc, and unless I buy a van for work I may loose my home and and everything else I've strived for. I suffer from depression frequently but this situation I'm in has made me feel like I'm at the end of my tether . I'm too proud to go and sign on the dole as I've worked all my life, im not saying it's wrong to get money for free off the taxpayer as there are plenty of people out there who need the help,im Just too proud. I've paid taxes all my working life. I'm just finding it so hard at the moment and thought I'd give this a try as a last resort. I'm a very caring kind-hearted man who will do anything for someone in need of help and have helped lots of people in dire straights. I'm asking you the public for help to get me back on my feet again before I get too deep in debt that I can't pull it back. Any donations would be very much appreciated.
