Story

Dig Deep is a UK registered charity committed to helping communities in Kenya improve their access to clean water, sanitation and renewable energy. Working with a range of inspirational local partners, the money raised will help communities to drill wells, harvest rainwater and access renewable technologies so that they are empowered to overcome the challenges they face.

Mount Kilimanjaro is situated in Tanzania & is the tallest mountain in Africa with its summit 5,895 meters above sea level. The journey is an eight-day trek from base camp to the summit and is considered one of the most challenging climbs in the world.

After learning about Dig Deep and their Kilimanjaro trek I knew I wanted to be a part of it, the climb is a personal challenge I have always wanted to complete as I was born in Tanzania.

The climb really is a great way to raise awareness of the struggle people face, clean water is something some of us take for granted, but not readily available in some rural villages, a simple tap can change lives!
Every contribution pushes one step closer to the goal and would benefit this very worthwhile cause.

Any donations however small would be gratefully appreciated
