Story
After the Carnival of 2016, It was brought to our attention by The Operations Planning Department from Warwickshire and West Mercia Police, that we did not comply with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Management Act and this means that we are no longer able to rely on our trusted volunteers to marshal all road closures, both static and rolling. We have been advised if we do not adhere to the above Act and an accident were to happen our insurance would be invalid and would leave Committee members personally liable.
The carnival is an annual event, which we all look forward to, it brings together the whole village, it would be such a shame, if due to legislation that we can no longer have the procession or funfair which is such a big part of the day. So lets get together and raise the funds.
If each household could spare just £2, that would cover the related costs.
Many thanks in advance of your contribution.

We are relatively new to the village but would be a shame to lose the carnival.
