We have created this page in loving memory of Teresa Baird, who was taken far too soon due to covid-19. We would like to raise money for the wonderful intensive care unit at QA hospital who looked after Teresa whilst she was unwell.

Teresa had no underlying health conditions and took the pandemic seriously so as not to put anyone at risk. She was unfortunately one of the unlucky ones that the virus took hold of, though she fought hard against it for a while. Teresa was in intensive care for just over two weeks and though made some progress in that time, there was sadly no more the nurses could do.

Teresa grew her wings and became our angel 28/04/20. She was an amazing, caring, selfless and beautiful woman inside and out, with a smile on her face always. She touched many peoples lives, even those that she only met briefly and there is a Teresa shaped whole in the hearts of all that knew her. But in true Teresa style we want to make some good out of this devastating situation, and help others like Teresa always did.
