As mayor of Abergavenny I am supporting three charities this year; 7Corners, Rare Seed and Dance Blast. The people who run these groups work tirelessly and for no pay to ensure that young people have somewhere to go to learn skills of all descriptions from theatre and dance to learning how to manage life when their circumstances may be challenging and support at home isn't always available. I'm running the Cardiff Bay 10k to challenge myself and to raise money to help these amazing groups to purchase the resources they need to provide even better opportunities for young people in Abergavenny.
