Hi, My name is Tess and i'm 8 years old, I live in Poynton and I go to school with a girl called Amelia Carroll.

Amelia is my friend and I want to help her, Sadly Amelia and her big brother Ollie have a very rare disease called CLN2 Batten disease. This is a awful disease which has already taken away Ollie's ability to walk and his eyesight.

Both Ollie and Amelia travel to London's Great Ormond Street hospital every two weeks to receive enzyme therapy straight into their brains, This brilliant treatment has slowed the effects of Battens in both Ollie and Amelia significantly but unfortunately it will not stop Amelia losing her sight, WE WANT TO HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR A NEW TREATMENT FOR AMELIA AND OTHER CHILDREN AFFECTED BY BATTEN'S TO STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING!!

My plan is to walk the GRITSTONE TRAIL with my Daddy! It is 35 miles long and very, very hilly. We will start at Kidsgove train station and make our way to Mow cop castle over to Bosley cloud, from there we head to the communication tower on Croker hill and onto Teggs nose in Macclesfield , up next is White Nancy in Bollington followed by a further upto Bowstones, finishing up through Lyme Park to Disley train station then home!!! I will be doing this over 3 consective days on the 3rd to 5th June.
