I've raised £1000 to raise funds for the Tewkesbury Christmas Lights but it could be YOU switching them on this year! Read Below!

All you would need to do is make a donation to this JustGiving page and you will automatically be entered into a draw to switch on the lights this year. One person will be picked out at random on Friday 22nd November 2019 at 6pm from the list of donations. The winner will be announced on our Facebook page that evening! On the day of the Lights Switch on the winner will receive a professionally framed photograph of them switching the lights on in the scissor lift and will subsequently feature in the local press afterwards.
The Tewkesbury Christmas Lights is solely financially supported by the kind people of Tewkesbury each year. The voluntary committee organise the Lights Switch on and use their own time to fundraise to keep this annual event going in Tewkesbury.
The annual expenditure costs around £8000 to ensure that the lights are fully tested, it costs a significant amount to put on the switch on event in November, this includes insurance, road closure fees, signage, hire of first aid cover. We are also continuously improving the infrastructure to ensure that the lights are to the latest quality standards and that all connections are safe
The Christmas Lights committe really appreciate all of the help given by local people and businesses who assist in any way they can to ensure that this popular event carries on for the future.
PLEASE NOTE: Donations have been coming in from all directions from local businesses and Tewkesbury folk, the money raised on here will go towards our £8000 target which is currently on track!
Please help by donating today!
Thank You from the Tewkesbury Christmas Lights Voluntary Team
