Story

Please help us in our campaigning efforts and legal costs for a better deal for UK drivers - We can't do any of this without your support or without voluntary contributions!

Sadiq Khan’s inept financial management of transport strategy has gone too far. And as a result he is asking you to pay for his budgetary incompetence.

Midwives, shift workers, plumbers, electricians, delivery guys to name just a few, will be financially massacred by this insane hike in the Congestion Charge to £15.

The congestion charge in London is to rocket 30% in June 2020 and NOW be enforced seven days a week, as the politically motivated mayor struggles to pay for his debt-ridden transport system.

And still under lock-down, the £11.50 charge was reintroduced on Monday (18 May), along with the ultra-low emission zone which costs £12.50 for most vehicles and £100 for heavy lorries or coaches.

This strategy of asking drivers to pay for the privilege to enter London, is eagerly being reviewed by other major city councils. This could happen in Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Edinburgh, Belfast, Norwich, Southampton and other big Cities too.

This Capital's anti-driver policy will kill off many of London’s struggling small and medium sized businesses, the haulage industry, van distributors and hardworking motorists. This latest massive pricing hike move is not to look Green, no, it is simply to help Khan's long-term mismanaged mayoral deficit. The London Mayor has an amoebic ability to recognise that affordable and balanced road transport costs, means we need a thriving London economy.

FairFuelUK with Lawyers from Black Antelope will challenge this idealistic administration to stop their financial carnage of millions of drivers, who have no choice but to use their vehicles every day for work, medical visits and community support.

Why FairFuelUK needs your financial support

The world's highest taxed drivers here in the UK are up against the cash grabbing politicos like the idealistic Mr Khan, rich celebrity backed 'Client Earth', the fanatical 'Extinction Rebellion' and the uncompromising 'Green Party' all well financed by millions of pounds from misguided out of touch donors. Sadly our Government is being influenced to demonise drivers too, for all the ills of the environment. And amazingly motoring organisations like the AA and RAC do nothing to back their paying members either on critical issues that impact on UK's 37m drivers.

We punch way above our weight because of the support of hard working drivers across the UK and the continuing support of the RHA and FTA. But we need as much sponsorship and legal finance support as we can get. Campaigning and lawyers are expensive. Please help to support FairFuelUK Campaign's fight on your behalf to get Westminster and the London Mayor to listen to common sense.

FairFuelUK is completely non profit making.
