A group of riders will be completing a sponsored motorbike ride across 4 National Parks on the 6th, 7th, 8th September (Peak Districts,Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and Snowdonia National Park). The team has a mix of rider experience, from 20+ years to one of the team who is currently pushing to pass test in time just to take part in this event. Currently we are estimating that we will be on the road for about 7 - 10 hours a day which is going to be challenging for all taking part.

The Midland Freewheelers provide NHS, private healthcare providers, Air Ambulance services or other Emergency Service providers with a dedicated and professional emergency delivery service tailored specifically to suit your needs. We carry anything of a medical nature that can safely be carried on the bikes, this includes whole blood, blood products, plasma, platelets, pathology samples, breast milk, x-rays/scans, patient notes...etc. All of the charities riders are fully qualified advanced riders accredited through either the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) or the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

Most of the riders took part in a similar even last year riding from Skegness to Barmouth which helped raise over £4000 in total. Hopefully with your help we can do the same again this year. Its important to call out not only are the riders giving up personal time to take part in this event but all of the running costs are being paid for by the team (Hotels, Fuel, Living expenses). This means that all the money raised will be donated to this great charity.
