Last month 14 students from Woodham Academy went through an application and interview process hoping to get chosen to travel across the world to Thailand to volunteer in a elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai. I am very exited to have been giving this opportunity because I think its really exiting that we get to see a different culture and help save a endangered specie for our future generation to see. whilst at the elephant sanctuary we will learn to take of the animals by bathing and walking them. I think going to the elephant sanctuary is a amazing opportunity to volunteer for a week but after this we will get to explore Bangkok and other destinations, we will also get to se one historical sites like the river Kwai. I am very exited to learn about handling the animals because this is as once in lifetime opportunity an any donations big or small would go a long way and would be very much appreciated.
