As part of my student nurse training, I have the opportunity to volunteer in a hospital in Surin, Thailand (One of the most rural areas of Thailand) in November of this year. This trip will enable me to learn about diversity in healthcare across the world and offer my help and support to clinics and community trusts over there who will benefit from knowledge and experience of UK healthcare systems.

This trip will allow me to build on my personal experience of nursing, develop my confidence, enable me to develop an understanding of the difference in healthcare from the NHS and apply different experiences to my own practice when I return back to the UK.
