Story

We are working with Thanet Green Party to show our hard-pressed nurses and doctors at QEQM how much we appreciate their dedication, by providing snacks and wellbeing products. After a successful first round of fund-raising and snack pack deliveries, we are now working on the next phase of our campaign.
We heard of a survey showing that NHS staff would like wellbeing products such as moisturising cream to help their skin cope with the difficult conditions they have experienced over the last year. We were thrilled to receive a donation, via the wonderful Sharon Goodyer of Our Kitchen of high quality moisturising cream, bath bombs and aftershave balm. These have now been packed up with thank-you notes for distribution at the hospital with the help of the tireless Sue Kennedy of EKHUFT.
The over-stretched staff on the frontline still need nutritious and handy food, especially on the night shift. Kabuto Noodles continue to offer their support, and we would like to continue giving wellbeing products. Please donate all you can to help us.
Show your appreciation for our NHS heroes, going above and beyond, every working day, despite the insulting 'pay-rise' offered by this government which of course represents a pay cut in real terms. We have front line NHS staff in this country forced to use food banks.
We all need to know that the NHS will be there for us when we need it, with staff well-fuelled and feeling appreciated to meet the challenges of their essential work.
Please help us to help them by donating as much as you can afford to give, so that we can continue to provide snacks and wellbeing products for as long as they are needed. We have already distributed nearly 1000 snack-packs and hundreds of pots of Kabuto noodles but as long as the money keeps on coming in we will keep on delivering.
Thank you.
