Jill’s service to education, and in particular Catholic education, has been exceptional. Some of you will have worked with her more closely than others but she will have touched all of our schools and children in some capacity. Her teaching and leadership at St Mary’s has been the most significant over the years but in recent times she has made a very positive contribution to the leadership at St Louis, St Felix and St Pancras. She has also served on the Governing Body at St Alban’s and supported the work of St Laurence. In addition, her Trust wide role leading Teaching Learning and Standards has secured significant improvements in the quality of teaching and outcomes for children. You will therefore share my mixed feelings; joy and excitement for Jill as she enters the next phase of her life and sadness that we will be losing a much-loved and respected colleague and friend. Please give generously so that we can give her the thanks and show her the love that she deserves.
