I am a volunteer for The Albert Project based here in my hometown of Blackpool.

The Albert Project is a homeless charity who rely on volunteers and donations from the public to feed and clothe those who are less fortunate that are living on the streets of Blackpool.

Our aim is to help and support the homeless people in Blackpool with a long term view to getting them off the streets and to live a better life.

On Saturday 17th August at 9pm a few of us volunteers will be taking part in Blackpool Run The Lights 5k (no matter the weather).
