I've raised £1000 to Purchase new toys for the Children's Wards Playroom at Morriston Hospital

Every year for the last twelve years A Touch Far Vetched (ATFV) has mounted a fundraising campaign for Morriston Hospital's Children's Wards, raising more than £1,000 each time. This money would fund our annual shopping trip to Smyths Toystore, where our fundraisers would meet up with the Hospital's Play Nurses to spend the cash on new toys for the wards' Playroom.
2020 is the first year in over a decade where we failed to do this, mostly down to the devastating effects of Covid-19 on fundraising across the board.
We need to put that right!!
And so ATFV is launching a major fundraising campaign for the first half of 2021and we are determined to raise that £1,000 so that we can once again replenish the toy stocks in the Hospital's Playroom. Hopefully the restrictions around Covid-19 will gradually loosen and we'll be able to start running our fundraising events again - whether that's in pubs or in the Editor's wonderful Welsh Government Penllergaer Office, but if not...we'll find a way!
If you have a spare pound or two - and we know that isn't as easy as it sounds in these worrying economical times - then please consider making a small donation to help us meet our target. Play is such an important part of the treatment for children who are unlucky enough to spend any time in hospital and we want ensure the Play Nurses have the very best toys and equipment at their disposal.
We failed to do that in 2020...help us put it right in 2021 by donating and/or spreading the word about The ATFV Toy Story.
