Story
This is the fundraising page for Deborah Bulcock, Julie Bryan, Julie Long and Doug Glenwright who are all doing this amazing challenge for a great cause.
We're walking The Pendle Way over the week of 6th-12th May - a 45-mile circular route taking in the 3 peaks of Pendle (Pendle Hill, Boulsworth and Weets) and many towns and villages.
There's a handful of us on the adventure - some doing all of it and some doing part - fitting it around all the commitments in our busy lives! Either way, we're all pushing ourselves to feel the challenge.
Please support us by helping fundraise for this amazing cause.
PH7 Life is a non-profit organisation, soon to be registered charity, that provides a 4-week holistic programme to people living with moderate-severe depression. They are changing the way we view and treat mental illness in the UK and the results are nothing short of fantastic.
Delegates attend for FREE and have a fully holistic experience, including psychotherapy, yoga, massage, sound healing, nutrition education, and much more. Mental illness is a whole-person condition and PH7 Life are treating it as such with the support and solutions they offer.
Based in Burnley, they support locations that have some of the highest figures for mental illness and longest waiting lists in the UK. They are making a real difference. Follow PH7 Wellbeing Centre on social media to get behind all that they do and find out more.
Places for delegates are funded through donations and fund-raising. Each place costs £750 to deliver and we would love to be able to change the lives of at least 2 people by putting them through the programme. More if we can get beyond our target.
Please donate generously and help to cover some of the platform costs by adding the suggested tip.

5 years agoAn enormous thanks to everyone who has supported us on our Pendle Way adventure earlier this month. We had an absolute blast and finished our walk on a high in gorgeous sunshine. Huge thanks for all your generous donations. With our off-line fundraising we've smashed through the £2000 mark. Enough money to fund the next free programme at PH7 LIFE to change the lives of those with moderate/severe depression and anxiety. Forever grateful, Debs, Julie, Julie & Doug (and all our guest walkers during the week!)

5 years agoWith off-line fundraising we're now at a total of approx. £900 - hugely grateful to everyone who has donated. Thanks so much. Plenty of training going on, some of it on The Pendle Way itself. Map reading skills being put to the test and getting to know the routes well. Here's little Lexi at Wycoller yesterday having just finished a section with us.

5 years agoSo happy to have just got past the £600 make today - thank you so much! With the in-person fund-raising we have going on too we are at the point where we are funding someone through the programme and changing their life for good. We've all been doing some training and are feeling good about the walk itself. Our map reading skills may need some fine-tuning though!! Thanks again Deborah x
