I've raised £300 to Osiligi Charity Projects (via Tracey & Jason's 30th Wedding Anniversary party)

As some of you may know, Jason and I celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary this year and we are incredibly lucky for the things we have. Instead of presents, we would like to afford others some of the gifts that we take for granted ... education, clean water and access to healthcare. This project is close to our hearts and is championed by a dear friend.
The Osiligi Charity Projects help families in the Maasai areas of Kenya out of poverty through education, health and local access to clean water.
The vital projects that we are raising for are:
Education .... we can fund school places for children who would otherwise have no access to education. The school currently teaches 209 children, providing them with equipment, access to books and computers and feeding them breakfast and lunch. Each year, a new classroom is added, offering Primary education to an extra 25 children.
** funds are needed to build classrooms and to feed and sponsor our children, so we can continue to grow **
Health ... the Health Clinic was built in 2014 to serve the schoolchildren and the wider community. It currently offers subsidised access to health care but we hope to have the clinic self-funding by 2019.
** funds are needed to improve services so that everyone has access to GP consultations and minor surgeries locally **
Clean Water ... for you and I, clean water is always available. For those in the Maasai areas, access to water is scarce and sometimes even dangerous. We are currently running a project whereby a borehole and solar pump are being fitted to supply water to the school and local community.
** funds are needed to complete our solar water pump project, to give schoolchildren and the community access to safe water **
We thank you in advance for your generosity and warmth.
