Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
The Village Osteopaths is celebrating its 3rd Birthday this November by holding a charity fundraiser on Saturday 19th November held between 10am – 3pm.
We are raising money for F.O.R.M.E. - Fund For Osteopathic Research into M.E. [Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.) or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)].
On the day we will be having a bake sale, raffle as well as festive food and fun at their Timperley Village clinic.
There is an extra special raffle prize on offer – 1 nights bed and breakfast at The Bulkeley Hotel in Beaumaris, Anglesey!
All other raffle prizes include donations from local businesses across Timperley and Altrincham as well as gift certificates from The Village Osteopaths.
Raffle tickets can be purchased in The Village Osteopaths clinic although donations made via our JustGiving Page will also qualify for raffle tickets!
You will need to donate at least £5 to purchase raffle tickets via JustGIving: £5 buys 5 raffle tickets, £10 buys 10 raffle tickets, £20 buys 20 raffle tickets (and so on....).
More About F.O.R.M.E.
F.O.R.M.E. is a registered charity in England and Wales (no. 10450005) and. was set up to promote public research into the practice of osteopathy in the treatment of M.E. / CFS - namely The Perrin Technique™.
F.O.R.M.E.’s vision is to fund necessary research to establish universal access to osteopathic treatment for M.E. / CFS – namely through the NHS.
The Perrin Technique™ has recently undergone a year-long NHS research study and clinical trial to test a new method of diagnosing patients who have symptoms of M.E. / CFS. The clinical trial was undertaken at Wrightington Hospital, Wigan. The results are due out in late 2016 / early 2017.
The Perrin Technique™ has been developed by osteopath Dr Raymond Perrin following his research that has found definite physical signs common to all M.E. / CFS sufferers.
