Bedtime Stories with Mrs Mansfield

On Thursday 7th March, World Book Day, Mrs Mansfield will be holding a sponsored Bedtime Story. How many stories will she be able to read in 20 minutes? All the money raised will go towards refurbishing the school library. Come to the school hall at 3.30pm (in your pyjamas if you like!) to get comfy and hear Mrs Mansfield read some classic children's favourites. You can sponsor a lump sum or sponsor her per book if you prefer.

We have a wonderful library space at The Weald Primary School, but it is cold and uninviting. The library is neither comfortable or exciting and it does not stimulate the children to want to read. We need better shelving, comfy seating, little secluded corners, beanbags, and lots of vibrant colour and decoration. Please help us to make the library somewhere where the children can really get lost in a good book.
