I'm raising £1,750 to help restore an ancient woodland within Bolton Muir wood. All the money will be spent on the woodland restoration and education. The initial projects include removing non-native species, restoring ponds and baseline ecological surveys to ensure we are enhancing habitats and biodiversity. I am involving as many young people as possible to explain ecological restoration to them but also to give them hands on experience of tree planting and generally getting muddy!
