On December 20th 2019, our lovely timber Adventure Playground was condemned as the supports underground were rotten. We need to replace this resource and would dearly love to do so with something even better. We want it to be a resource that the children will use to be physically active as well as being great fun to use, both now and in the future.

After lengthy research, we have found a solution which we know the children will love – a ‘Ninja course’! This course includes a circuit track and a large climbing frame. This is made of HPA plastic which cannot rot away so it will last – it also comes with a 25 yr guarantee.

The work is due to commence in April 2020 so that the children will have a modern and impressive looking play area ASAP! However, it goes without saying that we will not be able to complete this work without your help.

The total project cost will be £32’000.

The school has allocated £15’000 to fund this. FOWS are kindly donating £7’500 and recently a local business generously donated £1500 that we are also adding to the pot.

We now have the challenge of raising £8500. We are asking any of you who are able to do so, to contribute whatever you can. Every penny raised will go towards this project and enhancing the children’s experience at playtime and lunchtime.
