Story

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

On Sunday 24th September an eager middle aged team of determined but novice walkers will take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise money for this years Tockwith Show Presidents Charities'.
Led by our newly trained map readers, Elizabeth Hughes and Sally-Anne Search, the route that takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, is 24-miles long and includes 5,200ft (1,585m) of ascent.

Every penny raised will go to support our charities' which are St Michael’s Hospice and the Follifoot Park Disabled Riders Group.

Saint Michael’s Hospice exists to help people with terminal illness to live and die well. They do this by offering specialist care, comfort and support, free of charge, to patients and their families.

Follifoot Park Disabled Riders Group’s aim is to provide opportunities for people with a wide range of disabilities to enjoy the unique benefits of horse riding and carriage driving. They see disability as a starting point from which everyone can achieve something and are entirely self-funded.

Please make each step worthwhile by supporting the team and these worthy causes.
Thank you
