I've raised £1000 to to go directly to the projects in Malawi, help improve Quality of life, and leave a positive impact on the environment.

In the summer of 2019 I will be travelling to Malawi with a group from my school to help out in humanitarian projects set up by Camps International. Today 6.5 million people in Malawi are going hungry, that is more than the total population of Scotland. Drought, erratic rainfall and devastating floods have led to life threatening situations. Harvests have failed and prices have soared, not only this but the lack of education and facilities mean that they will probably never be able to get out of poverty. By supporting this cause you can help!
Whilst in Malawi I will be helping the local community and working on projects that will improve their education and quality of life. 50% of the cost of the trip goes straight to the community projects I will be working on, this is the 50% that I want to raise. I feel as if the crisis in Malawi isn't made as aware as other causes around the world and that is why I think it is so important to make people more aware.
In Malawi we will be carrying out a number of community projects that including improving local amenities, installing clean water facilities, helping educate the local children, helping improve local infrastructure, work on sustainable farming projects.
Any donation big or small will make a huge difference!
Thank you very much!
