I've raised £5000 to I am raising money to help purchase essentials for our brand new orphanage and school we are building in November in Uganda

Hi Everyone,
I am aiming to raise some last-minute funds ahead of my trip to Uganda on Sunday 4th November 2018, which will go towards items that I hope will increase the quality of life for some extremely deserving children. As you may or may not know, we recently purchased some land; upon which stands what is soon to be a revitalised orphanage and school.
Your donation will go towards one of the following, all of which are vital in our efforts to give these children the most enjoyable and promising level of everyday life we can muster:
School Uniforms: More than just a place of education, we want the school to give the children a sense of community, for them to feel like they belong to something special and provide them with a sense of pride. Having new, clean and smart school uniforms is something we believe will help bring them value and a sense of achievement; hopefully inspiring them to dream big and chase those dreams fearlessly.
Quilts: As well as their beds, we want to give the children that will be living at the Orphanage some comfy bedding too. Some of these children have gone for periods of their lives without even having a bed to call their own, something we all take for granted; so giving them some quilts to sleep under every night is something we think is essential.
Towels: Not only will the orphanage give the children access to clean, flowing water to drink and wash themselves with; we want to provide the children with nice new towels to dry and cover themselves. Another privilege we give very little/no thought to at all but will be a dignified luxury for the children.
Recreational & Sports Equipment: Africa is well known as a continent for having a big focus on sports, being able to provide the young boys and girls at The ABODE Project with recreational & sporting equipment is something that we think is hugely important. Regular exercise and fun activities do wonders for the morale of any child, universally.
Horticultural Facilities: This one is a little more outside the box, but will help with the longevity of the project. The aim is to make the community as self-sufficient as possible, by funding horticultural facilities on the land, the children and staff will together be able to grow fruit and vegetables; giving them a constantly reliable food source and allowing them to stretch whatever funding they receive even further.
If you would like to donate as little as a pound, you can at least rest assured that it will be put towards one of the above. The ABODE Project Uganda aims to become a beacon of hope, on a continent that in places is rife with extreme poverty, violence, disease and everything in between. Even the smallest of donations helps us take another step in the right direction, as we work towards changing the lives of as many children as possible.
