Story
Helen Croft, Andrea Booth and Andrea Lees from Poynton Runners will be taking part in the Greater Manchester Marathon to raise money for a very special cause.
Following recent events in the village, The Acoustic Lounge is going to purchase and allow everyone access to a 24 hour defibrillator.
For Helen Croft and Andrea Lees it will be their first marathon and all three ladies have asked to contribute to the defibrillator.
A 26.2 mile marathon is no mean feat and we wish all three ladies the very best of luck in finishing the marathon and helping us to reach our goal
