    Story

Due to the impact of Covid19, theatres around the UK are struggling to keep their heads above water. Theatr Gwaun in Fishguard is no exception. It is a wonderful community run theatre providing invaluable and creative opportunities for the local community and visitors alike. Matthew & Lorna, who spent their honeymoon in Newport, Pembrokeshire,, and have now moved to Fishguard, will be recording and sharing 35 tracks of violin & piano music to celebrate their 35 years of married life together. The venture will hopefully raise awareness and provide much needed funds for further developments to Theatr Gwaun.

Our 35 tracks project is now complete and the money you have all so generously given has been used to install a much needed new heating system and boiler into the Theatr Gwaun! Now we are waiting for the COVID restrictions to ease and are looking forward to performances again! Thank you all so much.

We have now arrived at our final week of our 35 tracks celebration project, which comes to an end on Sunday 8th November. We have so enjoyed putting these pieces of music together, taken from your requests, and we will miss producing and sharing them so much. This project has made us feel surrounded by our friends and family and new friends during these extremely testing times. Our thanks to you all for making this such a success!

We have now passed the half way mark of our 35 Tracks celebration and have raised the fund target for Theatr Gwaun to £2,000, due to all the amazing support and encouragement we have received from friends and family. The newly refurbished foyer at Theatr Gwaun is planned to are/open mid November ( after we emerge from the latest lockdown!), and we complete our 35 Track project on Sunday 8th November. Do keep the requests coming!!
