Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are embarking on an incredible journey to climb Ben Nevis, Scotland’s highest mountain standing tall at over 1,300 meters. This challenge is not just about reaching the summit; it’s about raising awareness and vital funds for a cause that truly matters. We are fundraising for two very worthwhile charities, Cancer Research UK and The Royal Corps of Army Music Charity.

For our band, this fundraiser has a personal touch, with many of us having family members who have experienced cancer. Additionally, August 2026 marks 6 years since our Band Sergeant Major's Breast Cancer diagnosis. A big part of recovery is targeting goals to achieve, this is one she has held for a long time.

Thanks to a wonderful team of NHS and Military medical professionals, she received life saving treatment with care, compassion and dignity. Cancer Research UK was undoubtedly at the heart of every part of the journey, spearheading break through treatments in the fight against cancer.
