The charity is called “The Basement Project” it’s focus is to rehabilitate people recovering from addiction. Currently the people live in a safe house with others in the same situation however if one relapses, they get sent out of the house so as to not effect the other house members. This generally means they go back onto the streets; a toxic environment for a recovering addict.

Our challenge is to raise £1173 to purchase one bed in a safe house where the said person can stay for 24-48 hours as needed. To raise this money we are holding a gig at Longley Park Golf Club, non school uniform days at local schools, bake sales, a raffle and fitness challenges at Total Fitness Gym.
