Story
The philosophy of The Broughton Trust is to help people believe in themselves. And have a positive impact in their communities. Help them to achieve their potentials by learning and training in different areas whether it be non-accredited courses in Mathematics or English to boost their confidence and to go on to college to complete accredited courses, or to try the short courses in Psychology, Counselling, Advocacy, working in the Childcare Sector or working in the Health and Social Care Sector. These short courses give them an insight in to going to college to further their education and hopefully find their future employment.
We also have different levels of ESOL classes and love to see the beneficiaries saying "hello" and "goodbye" or "see you next week" when they have been in their classes.
It puts a smile on all our faces to see their achievements and we enjoy seeing then progress through their learning.
We have CSCS Card Courses for NEETS who are 18-24 years old who are Not in Employment, Education or Training. We pay for the tests and CSCS Cards and help them find employment. We also help to buy them ID including Passports and Driving Licenses. Also, we help them buy PPE e.g., work boots, hard hats and high vis gilets.
Our Jobs not Prison Projects helps ex-offenders male and female with training and finding employment. We support them with taking them to training, interviews and if they find employment, we take them on their first day and pay for interview clothing. We pay for any ID, travel and also buy them food.
To continue to support our communities and keep The Broughton Trust going, we need your help with donations. We would be so grateful for any little helping hand!
