Story
Our medical services in the UK do receive government funding, it sadly is not enough. We have therefore increased our target so we can support the cardiac team (with your help), as much as we can. 12 babies a day in the UK are born with a CHD, that’s a total of 4380 babies a year. Please donate to help mend little hearts and save lives ❤️
The 7th-14th Feb is CHD Awareness week and I am hoping to raise money for the Birmingham Children's Hospital Cardiac Unit as a thank you for the hard work and dedication they put in for their patients day in and day out.
My son Muhammad Hanzalah Umar was diagnosed with a CHD (Congenital Heart Disease) in utero. He spent the nine weeks of his short life in Birmingham Children's Hospital. Although, Hanzalah did not make it to the next stage of his journey, I am still extremely grateful to the Cardiac team for taking great care of Hanzalah during our (approx) 60 days in the hospital.
More children die from a CHD than all childhood cancers combined. Our donations could help make a difference.
Thank you!
