Story
The Charitable Football Club are a non for profit sports club who's simple aim is to raise as much money as possible for charities and good causes across the U.K. Formed during the COVID-19 lockdown, the team is made up of friends and colleagues who have either had mental health barriers themselves or are in a prominent position to address them.
We have a target of raising £2000 for charities by the end of 2022. To date we have raised over £1100 and have only played two matches!
One of the biggest barriers we face is the cost of setting up a charity match. We have been really fortunate to negotiate discounted rates on pitch hire and videography costs, but this still costs upwards of £250, when we factor in the fee we pay for officials to referee our games.
Now, here's where you come in...
The key to our exposure and raising awareness of what we do is in our match footage. When we publish our match highlights we ensure that our sponsors and nominated charity are promoted. This (just like the videography) comes at a cost, that is currently being picked up by our players, chairman, manager etc.
The Veo camera would enable us to take total control of our footage, it would also enable us to edit the highlights to give more exposure to the charities that we support through their logos being placed on screen and during transitions after goals / near misses etc. It would save us £100 per match which is money that we could spend to further promote our cause.

4 years agoWith grassroots football coming to an abrupt end in November we sadly have not reached our target of £1000 for a veo camera. However what we have managed to raise is enough to buy a sports filming camera for our club that will enable us to still film matches and take pictures of all the action. Thank you again for your support and donations. It means the world to us!
