I've raised £10000 to help gain awareness about Children Today charity, who fund specialized equipment for disabled children through our garden.

Often children and young people with disabilities remain excluded from a lifestyle which other people may take for granted. They want to join in and take part in the same sorts of activities or lifestyle, within their capabilities, as other children. They want to gain more independence from their parents as they get older, but are often prevented from doing so. Children Today support these children and young people by providing grants for specialized equipment to improve and enhance their lives and allowing them to reach their potential. We are hoping to help gain awareness about this wonderful charity in our upcoming RHS Tatton conceptual show garden to commemorate Children Today Charitable Trust’s 25th anniversary. However, to help achieve the awareness we would like, we need the funding for the garden show to take place. All proceeds raised through the garden will go to the charity.
Ines (pictured above) was funded an adapted pushchair by Children Today after the family were told she could only receive a wheelchair by the NHS. Unfortunately, this would be unsuitable for her needs. Thanks to Children Today, the adapted pushchair has been life-changing. Ines’s mum Carolyn said:
‘Just having the buggy to go anywhere has made a huge difference already as we can all go out together – even a trip to the shops could be difficult before.’
However, Children Today are only able to fund so much. By donating towards the show garden, you will be helping us raise significant awareness for this wonderful charity. At the end of the show, everything will be sold off, and all proceeds will go to charity. Help us help Children Today fund specialized equipment for disabled children, giving them a brighter future.
