I'm running the Great Wall of China Marathon to support a community organisation called Scran Academy.

They support the most vulnerable young people to transition beyond the classroom into the workplace and wider life. They learn business skills, understand the values of hard work and perseverance and bring their local communities together with events they host.

As a business owner myself, I've learnt first hard how tough it is to build something from the ground up. I've done a lot of it through trail and many errors but what I've learnt most of all is my happiness comes from the pursuit of creating something.

This charity gives young people that opportunity to realise a passion. They give young people first-hand work experience in a dynamic food and drink social start-up. Scran Academy teaches them about all elements of business from start to finish whilst bringing them closer to the communities they live in.
