I've raised £1400 to sponsor a night at the theatre for Carers. On 4th April we're inviting carers to 'The Garden' at Tristan Bates.

Carers Trust does such important work in the UK. We want to offer carers a much needed respite and night out at the theatre.
Carers Trust said:
"There are more than seven million carers in the UK, caring for their sick or disabled family member.
Anyone can become a carer at anytime and it’s estimated that three in five of us will become a carer at some point in our lives.
Being a carer is tough – and the chance to take a break or have some ‘me time’ is a constant challenge.
Carers like doing the things that most people like doing, but they just don’t have the time. A trip to the theatre is a big deal for many, as it provides an opportunity to have a well-deserved break, some time out to refresh themselves as well as to simply enjoy a night out. The gift of a theatre trip is a real treat, so thank you."
Any extra money will go towards drinks and transport for the night. The more we raise the better we can make the night so please dig deep.
Fred Gray, Director comments: “Rising theatre ticket costs have made it a treat that not everyone can afford. Theatre is a great way to learn. Going to the theatre teaches us about people, places, and ideas to which we would not otherwise be exposed. Theatre is also an escape but this should be an escape open for all. We are delighted to be offering the chance for Londoners to ‘pay it forward’ and offer a stranger a much needed break.”
Thank You.
