After trying to conceive naturally for well over a year, we made the decision to go to our local GP for guidance. Fast forward a number of draining tests, appointments and consultations, we eventually received the news that conceiving naturally would simply not be possible and IVF would be our only realistic chance of having a baby. This is due to some fertility issues, including Jordan being diagnosed with oligozoospermia (severe low sperm count).

Due to being ineligible for NHS funding, we have been left with no choice but to take this daunting experience privately, recently accepted by a fertility clinic in Hertfordshire. In our most recent consultation with our clinic, we were strongly advised to begin treatment as soon as possible to have the best possible chance of succeeding, so we are in the hopes of undergoing our first round of IVF in November 2021.

This private treatment comes with its financial implications. No matter how big or small, any kind of donation to help give us the chance we so desperately seek will be something we'd be eternally grateful and thankful for.
