Story

Members of our youth organisation - The Gibbet Project - have collectively come up with the idea to raise money for Burkina Faso. The first reason as to why we have decided to choose Burkina Faso is: it is a third world country and many of the population live in poverty. Almost half of the country live without access to clean water (around 8.4 million). The second reason is simply because many of the members are taught arabic by a scholar from Burkina Faso.

We aim to create water pump/well to enable access to clean water for the people. Also, we aim to provide them with food/health packs as well as schooling equipment such as paper books, pens and pencils.

The team aim to visit Burkina Faso between 2018-2019 to set up and volunteer.

All donations will go straight to this project and would be kindly appreciated.

Thank you for your generosity.
