After many deep conversations, we as a group, have collectively decided that we would like to help people in need and make a difference in peoples lives, whether it be big or small.

We are University students, currently studying at the University of Derby. We appreciate that at all times, but especially during the current situation, many people are struggling for various reasons. Therefore, we would like to try and raise money to fund charity and community work that we would like to participate in. We have a variety of ideas that we would like to take part in - one of these ideas being that we would like to donate essential items to womens refuges, suchs as baby formula, nappies, sanitary products, clothing, etc, as well as possibly donating to general refuges with things such as clothing or toiletries that would be suitable for all genders and ages. We would also love to be able to make big and fulfilling donations to food banks, alongside care packages for those without permanent addresses, containing gloves, blankets, foods and face masks. Accompanying this, we realise that this may be quite a distressing and lonely time for many of the elderly and vulnerable, therefore we would like to spread some joy with little gift packages perhaps. And finally, in the future we would like to work towards being able to donate toys to childrens wards and homes to brighten the current situation.

Once we have hopefully reached a suitable amount of money, we would like to get in contact with certain services and charities around our area and then direct the money and contributions accordingly.
