Living with an aggressive grade 4 INCURABLE brain tumour!

I'm 33 and I've been told I only have months to live, please help me to gain more time to make memories with my precious wife and children.

It took me quite a while to even start this page, with the recent news we've had with regards to my health has really knocked me back. It has done the same to the family my beautiful wife and our two children. The eldest, daughter(8) and our son (5). It has put life into perspective for all of us.

We've had a pretty bad few years. But at the same time it's been the most memorable, more for good than bad. We've had the best day ever, getting married and having a family holiday that no one could forget. It all started with work going really well, life was going well and in the right direction. Then out of nowhere we were caught out by a life changing event which gave us a slap in the face.

It started with a seizure at work. This lead to a follow up scan then following appointment which showed the horrible truth that I had a grade 2 brain tumour. The first appointment was a blur, then came the growth of the tumour with operations and subsequent radiation therapy. Now with the horrible journey of chemotherapy, which I'm told could give me a little more precious time with family and friends. With the tumour growth now up to grade 4 the time span runs on for the next few months.

Since being diagnosed three years ago life has been one big roller coaster, full of ups and downs. As a family we have tried to carry on as normal and as best we can, keeping this close to home with only friends and family knowing the facts more to protect our children than anything, now we have been faced with the latest news as a family we have decided to share this with everyone we can as we are still holding on to a little hope! Through endless amounts of research between ourselves, family and friends we have come across a treatment called IMMUNOTHERAPY which has had amazing results but unfortunately comes at a huge price and not available on the NHS or even in this country. So once again we go up and back down.

The treatment is available at the HALLWANG PRIVATE ONCOLOGY CLINIC in Germany. This treatment can prolong lives considerably and has even put some cancers previously diagnosed and incurable like mine into complete remission. As we face the impossible task of funding the treatment we are pleading for help to raise the necessary funds. We have now been informed that the treatment of immunotherapy comes at a costly £70,000. Any donations no matter how big or small will be appreciated beyond words!

So, now is the time to ask the biggest question that I have ever had to ask.

I need your help. As a family, friend, colleague, and even stranger. I need your help and even down to a donation of a pound I will appreciate that as much as i do several pounds!

Please respect our wishes in doing the best we can to protect our two small children's ears. Life is tough enough for them seeing their daddy unwell.
