Story

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our beaches are more than just a backdrop to Brighton life - they’re where we breathe, walk, reset, and feel at home. As a salon rooted in this community, we believe looking after the place we love is part of our responsibility. That’s why we’re proud to be raising money for Leave No Trace Brighton, a local organisation doing vital work to protect and care for our beaches. Their dedication helps keep our coastline clean, safe, and thriving for everyone who uses it - now and for future generations.

With this in mind, here at The Hair Salon we’re taking on a coastal walk from Newhaven to Brighton, covering approximately 10 miles along the stunning (and sometimes challenging!) South Coast - all in one day.

The route follows clifftop paths, coastal trails, and promenades, taking in some of the most iconic views in East Sussex. It won’t be easy, but it’s a challenge we’re proud to take on for a cause that means so much to us.

So how can you support?

There are two main ways you can get involved and support this challenge:

- Walk with us - you’re welcome to join us for the full walk or dip in for a section that suits you. Even a few miles makes a difference, and having company along the way means everything. If you'd like to get involved physically, you can see all the information on our event page via the link below.

- Donate - every donation, big or small, goes towards supporting Leave No Trace Brighton and the incredible work they do caring for our local beaches.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and totally secure. Your details are safe, and once you donate the funds go directly towards supporting this cause. It’s the most efficient way to give and helps ensure as much support as possible reaches Leave No Trace Brighton.

Thank you for supporting us, supporting this challenge, and helping protect the coastline we all love.
