I am raising £2,000 for the Haven Project.

'The Haven Project' is very close to my heart as a family member is a regular client. I cannot thank the team enough for the support they have given her over the years.

Who are the Haven and what do they do?

The Haven Project is a specialist mental health charity that supports people with the diagnosis of 'Personality Disorder'. This debilitating disorder is usually brought on by trauma in their early years that carries on throughout their adult life, making it difficult to regulate their emotions and to maintain healthy relationships.

The project's main purpose is to help those diagnosed with personality disorder in North East Essex to maximise their recovery and reach their full potential.

The service includes recovery groups that enable clients to manage their condition better, with one to one sessions that can help to heal the deeper trauma most will have experienced, and telephone support for the occasion when clients begin to feel that their emotions may be getting out of control. In addition, the project offers outdoor activities to promote well-being. An outreach service has been developed to reach those who, for whatever reason, are anxious and cannot or will not leave their homes. The positive outcomes that their clients achieve are remarkable and measured by a nationally validated system.

The project is entirely dependant on donations and fundraising. The clients play a part in that fundraising, usually raising between £12,000 -£15,000 a year. Due to COVID-19 they have been unable to do any fundraising for 2020.

What I would like to do to help!

I would like to put an event together for 'The Haven Project' to help raise money for this amazing charity.

I will be doing a 12-hour live stream of how I create a 3D character/ illustration from start to finish. In the live stream there will be prizes to be won.

The theme

The theme for this live stream will be 'Alice in Wonderland.' I will be creating a 3D illustration that can be printed and purchased after the event with all the proceeds going to this awesome cause.

When and Where?

The event will start at 8-pm on Friday 31st July and we will be going all through the night till........
