Save The Heart and Hand

Jo,Lara Tim and @Baileythepubcat need your help to save our family business and the pub you all know and love.

Bert and Jo took over the lease at The Heart and Hand in 1988 and turned the Heart into more than just a pub . Customers quickly became friends and friends became family .

Bert and Jo retired in 2006 and today Lara runs the pub with her partner Tim and the now famous @Baileythepubcat.

The Landlords EI Group (formally Enterprise) have refused to cancel or even reduce rents during this pandemic and as of today are not offering any reduction if we open with restrictions

Our rent it £774.05 per week, if we have to stay closed until September our arrears will be approximatley £20,000.

As you all know we are a tiny pub and opening with social distancing will not be possible.

We would appreciate any donation no matter how small. Every single penny raised will go towards bringing the Heart and Hand back to you as soon as possible.
