Story
We have a love for all small pets, be it chickens, ferrets, cats, guinea pigs or rabbits we want to help them. We have rescued so many cats for so many different reasons and some of them just don't seem fair, but we are only at the end of the phone or email to help the animals. Some have being elderly great pet owners and regretfully had contacted us to take their pets in because they can no longer take care of them. My Daughter and i left crying our eyes out at this 90 years old womans house after she owned her cat for 13 years. We left with all Mitzys belongings and what a very sad but happy moment that we all shared. We will always make sure your pets are very well looked after in a 5* home.
We have also started a business called The Hen House Home... This is a lovely safe haven for your beloved pets to come and stay while you tan yourself on holiday or just visiting your friend of family for a long weekend. All stays include Food & Bedding.
With the money we raise, we are hoping to buy some more chicken runs, fencing, food and bedding to house them. Cats toys and food. A new bigger duck house. so we can take in a few more unwanted, or injured wild ducks. The money will help so many animals to a lovely new home and also give lots of holiday makers a lovely place for their best pets to stay. With experienced Chicken owners we can make sure your pets have the best care to hand.
We are a beautiful family of 5, My Husband and I have 3 children and they are crazy about the chickens and ducks. This week (18/6/2018) we have has 4 new chicks born...its absolutely fantastic news. I love to bring my children up to care so much for animals. They are the most gentle heart ted children i know, My daughter is 9 and has wanted to be a Vet for so long, I would obviously love this! Given that animals always need vets.

We would also be so happy to receive any donations of food, bedding, old cages and runs but still use-able and bowls etc.

6 years agoThank you for all the private gifters that have gone out of their way to help. We have got some decking paint new that was £300 We have been given Some old fencing that was a little tattered but we have finally finished it today and it will be painted tomorrow. We have also been given lots and lots of pallets to make fencing out of. This is going absoloutly fantastic and i have now lowered the donation price because one of the main cost was fencing. We have a lot to fence. So thank you for the donated fencing.
