Ishara De Silva had all of these things as she rose to the top of the London banking industry before she turned thirty, but she felt devoid of joy or fulfillment. All of her dreams came crashing down when a devastating cancer threatened her life.

Millions of people suffer from stress that leads to depression, mental illness and terminal disease. Western medicine treats the disease itself, while Ayurveda- the 5000 year old science of life- treats the root causes of the disease. In this documentary film, learn how cancer survivor Ishara De Silva avoided chemotherapy and not only healed herself but found her purpose in life through Sri Lankan Ayurvedic Practice.

The Vision:

This documentary, helmed by award-winning director Peter Webber, will lead viewers along the powerful path of Ayurveda, as practiced in Sri Lanka. This half-hour doc will feature live interviews with Ishara, Dr. Erandi (and other doctors), Sri Lankan Buddhist monks, and other successful survivors in the beautiful surroundings of the Sri Lankan landscape. Learn how you too can follow the path that includes yoga, meditation, a healthy lifestyle, and diet. The film will contemplate not only physical healing, but it will help viewers work through healing the mind when the big life and death issues confront us.
