Story
Currently the main centre of the rescue is located in the rescue owner, Brittany's, back garden. This was fine as a temporary set up but we have now massively outgrown this.
We are therefore in the process of finding a new location for our main centre and undergoing a big expansion.
We have big plans to eventually have 80 enclosures that all exceed RWAF guidelines. These will be set up gradually depending on how much we are able to fundraise but this is our goal. This will allow us to take in far more bunnies in need than we are currently, and will also give us more enclosures for bunny and piggy boarding in order to raise money for the rescue. The centre will have at least one permanent member of staff to oversee everything, ensuring the centre has someone there all day.
We are currently waiting to hear back regarding our charity application, with the hope that we will become a registered charity. This will allow us to apply for grants to help raise funds for our relocation, as well as earn additional money through schemes like Gift Aid.
In the meantime we are asking for your help to raise funds. Initially, the funds will pay for our permanent residents big enclosure and the first rescue bunny enclosures. We currently have 24 permanent residents, 19 of which live together in a big aviary at the main centre. These bunnies live with us permanently and we would like to make their enclosure bigger (hopefully 40ft+) and better at the new centre!
Please donate and help us go on to help even more bunnies in need. Even if you can only spare £1 we would be so grateful!
Our vision above for the new centre.

The Littlest Lives Rescue
1 year agoThe big group of permanent residents are now happily settled into their new home at the new centre 🥰 Our group of 16 now have an 18x9ft enclosure which they are loving! Thank you so much to everyone that has donated to help us fundraise for this. This has cost us thousands of pounds so we are still trying to raise the money to cover everything we have paid. We are also looking to set up more enclosures in the future for boarding and other rescue bunnies so would appreciate any more donations possible! https://fb.watch/hcM5y5VmJ6/

The Littlest Lives Rescue
2 years agoSoon, the rescue will be moving to our new location in Patchway. We’ll have lots more space and our group of 16 rescue bunnies will have a new setup. When finances allow, we will add boarding and a couple of rescue set ups for emergency bunny intakes. The land will soon be cleared by our group of volunteers, as the secure perimeter fencing installation is scheduled for the end of September. Then the group’s setup will be installed. The fencing alone is costing just over £2000, so we now need to raise money to pay for the big group's set up.

The Littlest Lives Rescue
2 years agoHawthorn would like to share with you some ❗️good news❗️ Although we are still looking for a permanent new location to expand the rescue, we have found somewhere for the permanent residents 🥳 One of our lovely volunteers and her family has offered up an area of land to house the permanent residents. This will give them much more space which is what they deserve 😊 Unfortunately the area is not suitable as a new venue for the other rescue bunnies and boarding so our search is still on to find land for that!
