Story

The Lois Project: Women's Health Network runs a mobile food bank delivering food to people in need: some are house-bound due to disability or other health problems.

Our clients include Mr Ashad*, who is disabled and has epilepsy. He lives alone in temporary accomodation. Our food support ensures he gets ready meals delivered once a week. Mr Bill* is disabled, following a stoke. Our mobile food service helps him with food that he is able to cook himself. Ms Jane* has long term health issues and poor mobility. All our clients also have trouble paying bills and affording food.

Our motto is 'Good health is True Wealth', and food is one of the keys to good health. This is a voluntary project run by volunteers. We need funds to help keep this service going. Our partners at Fare Share help us with food, and your support will help us to pay for petrol, driver and volunteer expenses.

Please help us keep the Lois Project delivery service on the road. If you can donate £2, £3, £5, £10 or more a month, please do all you can. Together, we can help make good health everyone's true wealth. Thank you for all you do.
