Story
Somewhere around the 5th October East Markham Church was devastated by the theft of large quantities of lead from its roof. It is an iconic grade 1 listed church which is a landmark in the surrounding area and a focus for the community in the village.

Around four tons of lead was stolen from the roof with water and other damage ongoing as a result. Some things such as the damaged visitor book which got soaked in water through the leaky roof can not be salvaged. The damage that can be repaired will cost in excess of £50,000.

A group of mums from the village many of whom attend the fantastic family and messy church events, got married or baptised their children in this beautiful church decided to get together to try and help out.
With a bit or organisation, creativity and cheekiness we have put together a calendar for 2019 to help the fundraising efforts. It has been shot locally around the village. All profits raised from the calendar will be donated to the church.
