Our Journey Leading To Permanent Residence:

We are Ijay and Kay, together with our three beautiful daughters—Zemira (16), Ashrei (11), and Hadassah (2). Since 2018 (7+ years) we've lived in England and served as volunteer missionaries with Youth With A Mission Harpenden location.

We are once again at a transition point to be able to serve long term. We are getting ready to apply for our Indefinite Leave to Remain, and we would love to invite you to pray with us and consider being a financial part of this next phase, coming up on the 15th of August.

ILR will help us procure a permanent stay in the UK, allowing us more opportunities for more impactful ministry as we play our part in the bigger picture of what God is doing in the UK.

Over the last 7 years of serving as full-time volunteer missionaries with YWAM Harpenden, we’ve witnessed firsthand how God moves when ordinary people say yes to His call. While our primary focus has been facilitating worship ministry, we’ve also served in a variety of volunteer roles that keep the operational and spiritual life of the base running smoothly. Together, these responsibilities have enabled us to train, equip, and send young people into both local and global missions.

A QUICK SUMMARY:

Ijay has passionately walked alongside young trainees and fellow volunteers to help them grow in worship ministry—whether through DTS Worship Tracks, pioneering worship seminars, or teaching in DTS and Schools of Worship across various YWAM UK locations.

Kay serves in worship musicianship and technical ministries at YWAM Harpenden. If he’s not behind an audio-visual board, he’s likely behind a keyboard. Like Ijay, he is passionate about equipping others and believes that now more than ever, young people need to develop skills-based ministries as tools for local and global missions.

Zemira (16), Ashrei (11), and Hadassah (2) are all in exciting transition seasons—Zemira is starting A levels after finishing her GCSEs, Ashrei is entering secondary school, and Hadassah begins pre-school. Alongside their schooling, the girls also serve in youth and kids’ ministry in church, join us in prayer, and often participate in worship and outreach as part of our family’s mission journey.
