This is our beautiful Leann.

For 17 years, Leann brought so much heart and joy to The One Group. She was a colleague, a friend, and one of those rare people whose warmth you felt the moment she walked into a room. Over a career that touched so many, she became known and loved by more people than she could ever have realised.

Leann loved life and she loved a holiday most of all, especially with her daughter. Some of her happiest times were the ones spent away together.

In July they were both looking forward to a trip away but after 18 months of facing cancer with more courage and grace than we can put into words, Leann became too poorly to go and the holiday was cancelled. Leann was admitted to hospital soon after and heartbreakingly, Leann never came home.

So on the 24th October to honour the 17 years she gave us, a group of her fellow ‘Toggers’ are walking 17 miles together doing a full loop of Rutland Water, as a small but symbolic way of showing what Leann meant to us. We will be walking in her memory, doing something special for someone who meant the world to her.

Every penny we raise will go towards a holiday fund for her daughter, giving her the time away her mum wanted so much for her. We'd love to give her something wonderful to look forward to and to create more happy memories to hold onto, knowing her mum is still by her side.
