I'm raising £2000 to Support Theo and his family

Story

#TheosTribe was created as a way for Theo's family to keep everyone updated on his journey. Over the years, it has become a place where many people have followed his progress and shown their support every step of the way.

Theo is now 11 years old. He is football mad, a huge Newcastle United supporter, and should be spending this summer getting excited about starting high school.

Instead, Theo is getting ready to face leukaemia for the fourth time. Over the last eight years, Theo has shown incredible courage. He has endured intensive chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, CAR-T therapy and months in hospital. In 2023, after groundbreaking treatment, Theo was once again in remission and his family were able to enjoy precious time together at home.

Sadly, in June this year, Theo relapsed again. His mum, dad and two older brothers are once again facing months of hospital stays, long journeys to and from Manchester Children's Hospital, and time away from work so they can be with Theo every day.

Theo's dad grew up in Newcastle, and although Theo and his family now live in Upholland, the North East has always remained a huge part of their lives. That's why friends and family from both regions are coming together for this special charity match on 1st August 2026.

Being in hospital for months at a time brings huge financial pressures. Theo's mum and dad will be travelling to Manchester almost every day, taking time away from work and trying to make sure Theo has everything he needs while he's there. The cost of fuel, parking, food and everyday essentials quickly adds up.

To show Theo and his family that they are not facing this alone, #TheosTribe has organised a charity football match between friends and family from the North West and the North East. Two communities coming together to support one very brave little boy.

Taking place 1st August 2026, 3pm KO @ JMO Sports Park
